– now what to do?

What is an appeal?

An appeal is a procedure that allows you to challenge a decision made by the court.

How can we help?

If you are dissatisfied with a decision made by the judiciary we can discuss the potential prospect of your case going forward on appeal.

We’ve helped clients win appeals, we’re ready to help you.

What do you need to do

  • Contact our office immediately if you would like to lodge an appeal for yourself or a friend of family member.
  • If you want to appeal your case inside the County Court or to the Court of Appeal you will have a time limit. Generally, you have 28 days from the date you were given the sentence to make an appeal. You can apply for an extension of time, but you will require evidence to lodge an appeal out of time.
  • It is therefore very important you get timely advice so any appeal can be lodged within the time limits.
